This is the only crime film by Lenzi that I didn't like at all. I know you guys will crucify me for that but I hate the Monezza character, I find him very annoying. I found the film very slow-moving and uninspired compared to Lenzi's other crime efforts. Henry Silva was hardly in the movie too. Perhaps I could give it a second chance, but not anytime soon!

That's exactly how I felt about it, love all his crime films apart from this one. Maybe it was the absence of a Franco Micalizzi score. Though the version I saw was horrible quality.

Are there ANY English friendly release of this one? I might buy the German DVD if there isnt any English friendly version, cause i understand some German but not fluently, so i rather buy the German DVD instead of the Italian one as the German one has the German dub.

i recently got a copy of this from ebay, its a bootleg with a picture on the front of monezza titled il ritorno del monezza and a synopsis of free hand for a tough cop on the back. the picture quality and sound are both fine.
i think its a very entertaining film, it has some funny moments such as when milian and casinelli disguise themselves as painters and it dosent detract from the harder edged action. i thought casinelli was exellent in this film and would recomend it.
