Looks alright.

In the fertile region of Valencia, the family of Uncle Barret has to leave its home, the cottage: la “barraca”, because they cannot pay the debts due to the owner. Don Salvador. Uncle Barret, drunk and furious, kills Don Salvador and is imprisoned. The cottage is occupied by Batiste’s family which is received with hostility by the farmers, due to the tense circumstances in which the house was previously abandoned. This hostility will gradually turn into violence.

Just arrived, strange packaging. I've taken a picture next to a regular sized Blu Ray for comparison.

Watched the first five (half of them) episodes. Really enjoying it so far. The villagers are getting nastier and nastier with the out of order things they are doing to Batiste and his family to try and drive them out.

Finished the last few episodes off. I enjoyed this series. Well made by Klimovsky but it could have easily been made as a film. Definitely worth a watch. Victoria Abril look lovely in it.

I just saw the Spanish BD of the series as part of a 3 for €30 sale on Amazon (the name León Klimovsky picked my curiosity), and I'm going to give it a try.

I noticed there's many Spanish series on BD as part of the sale, most subtitled in several languages, some I'm familiar with, not I'm not.
Tanzi, did you pick up any other show from Amazon.es that you might recommend?

I was thinking of trying a few more but this is the only one I've picked up so far.
