I watched the new FilmArt German release of this last night , first time for me watching the film and i really enjoyed it. The quality was good on the DVD , there was only one brief dialogue moment which was in Italian where Eng subs were not available only German subs , this normally bugs me but as it was only 2 secs i can live with that. Overall worth owning , great Eurocrimer.

I ordered mine over the weekend. Watched a pan and scanned version earlier in the year, and was a bit taken aback by how much I enjoyed it; really rose to one of my favorites. Looking forward to FilmArt's disc!

Its an English language print, title "The Counsellor". Interesting to find Aristide Massaccesi a/k/a Joe D'Amato is credited as Director of Photography.

Mine arrived today from Amazon.de . Nice to be able to finally upgrade my Greek VHS. As mentioned by others, a Blu would have been lovely but nowadays, any new-to-DVD Euro Crime release is welcome in my book. Picture quality not as good as I was expecting from FilmArt but still a great job.

Yeah a good release, but the pic quality was a little disappointing. Good that it's in Widescreen though. I'm guessing the elements weren't up to snuff on this that a Blu Ray would've been worth it.
