That's a GREAT image! This is going to be on Blu, yes?

I should imagine so, that image is all that was posted of Severin's page, no text or anything, it does look like a Blu sized cover.

Blu-ray and uncut according to a couple of their replies. They're starting to release in the UK again so I wonder if this might make it over here as well.

I just hope that the image isn't as heavily filtered as their Vampyros Lesbos Blu-ray.

I don't think Severin filtered the film, they got it that way, they just muffed the encode.
No doubt the next Franco will also feature a weak encode and a low bite rate as well, but still be the best the film has looked in it's lifetime.

I have my doubts about that. If you compare with the German blu-ray there is noticeably less grain present. It still looks good, I would agree with that, but it is frustrating that it could have looked even better. The funny thing is that their release of She Killed in Ecstasy looks much better than Vampyros Lesbos - at least to my eyes.

Poor encode can produce a look similar to over use of DNR.
This is more to do with the actual encoding than file size, Severin is a bit soft in both departments.
