I Racconti Del Maresciallo (Mario Landi, 1968)
« on: 07 Mar 2016 - 22:10 »

Forty years, a native of Catania, transplanted in Piedmont, Marshal Louis Arnaudi juggles poachers, thefts in apartments, gambling debts, doubts ploy of a now bankrupt hairdresser. A brandy or a glass of wine and Gigi and 'ready to tell his friend Soldiers cases more' bizarre, challenging, memorable. Turi Ferro (Melissa, I Nicotera) infuses a verve Sicilian indefatigable guardian of order. Mario Soldati, author of short stories from which RAI has drawn much followed in 1968 the six episodes, accompanied by Gigi in his travels from case to case. The reduction of Romildo Craven and Carlo Musso Susa, the soundtrack by Stelvio Cipriani and the expert direction of Mario Landi make this series a classic of television of yesteryear, awarded by millions of viewers. Anyone seen any of this series, there are Italian DVD's, I wonder if anyone had fansubbed any?
