I guess I`m the oddball, I didn`t love it nor hate it. It was a decent popcorn flick that would be a fair evening`s entertainment with a few (dozen) cold beers. I doubt if I`ll buy the dvd, may rent it for a rewatch sometime. It`s definitely the least of Marshall`s genre films though...

I sort of know the guy (a moderator on another board) who was the asst. editor on the movie and he said the uncut version advertised re-instates 4 minutes of footage but none of it is extra gore to his knowledge. He also said the original directors cut ran around 2 hours and 40 minutes but that the theatrical version was "better". Awful movie. Hopefully, Marshall bounces back from this one.
