Earlier this year, the Filmoteca Española made available online a "lost" Jess Franco film,
Vaya luna de miel, which was never released to the cinemas, and whose whereabouts were unknown for almost 40 years.
The film, a light comedy/adventure loosely based on Edgar Allan Poe's The Gold-Bug, is a bit of an unusual entry is his filmography, and if it wasn't for Lina Romay prancing around naked (or close to it) it could almost pass as a kids flick.
It's good fun.
The film remains available on Vimeo, with English subtitles.
Since there's no planned Blu-Ray release (apparently, there are some rights issues that may prevent one from happening any time soon) it's well worth a look.
