the print IS fullscreen but it's nice and scriso and I would recommend it based on what I've seen so far.

I'll be picking this up then, it's possible that the transfer is open matte which is fine, I also love a nice scriso print so it's a no brainer for me.  :D

Watched this tonight and was impressed - Palance is a right nasty piece of [hammy] work in this. A little hard to like at the beginning, but once the plot start to move and twist and turn I became hooked. A really enjoyable film  :-X

Mine came last week and it is a step up in quality, although still not perfect, from the Slasher set. Great cover too  ::). Paul: you are probably the first person who has said something nice about this film. It gets slated everywhere, but hopefully here is the start of some affection for it. I'll watch it soon.

It is what it is, amte. There's no use in trying to intellectualise films likes these, they're just fun. Palance is really hammy in the film, and that's the biggest appeal. There's something about British horror films of the seventies; they just exude charm and an enormous sense of fun.

Anychance of some screen grabs from your Italian DVD Paul? I'm tempted to buy it but need confirmation that the a/v is good enough to upgrade from my VHS rip...

Yeah, no problem. I'll have to find it first, but when I do, I'll put them up.

Yeah, I would be interested in those screen grabs too  :D

I found some online, but unfortunately you need a code to be able to see them in full size:

Yes, he did let slip that the first article on the new site will be an in depth piece on CRAZE. I guess he's saving the 'goodies' for the site's launch.

I'll have to grab it sometime.

Bear in mind that some people think it's rubbish. They're fools though.

It does look like something I'd like to watch as opposed to something I'd dismiss without watching it.
