I also noticed that there's a guy posting every positive review he can lay his hands on over at ABUK and DVD Maniacs. The guy has actually convinced himself he's going to like it come what may. He seems almost deluded.

This one is causing some quite amusing debate over at the Anchor Bay forums. Those that haven't seen it are slagging off one guy that has, claiming he must an Argento hater! 

I've seen it so I know he's right. It wasn't pulled from the Italian cinema circuit for nothing.

To be fair here, Marc. You stated that you didn't like "MOT" either and that didn't start a heated debate over there.
Let's just say that "the guy" in question isn't the easiest person to discuss with....

Lucas' comments about the title of Argento's next film--GIALLO--made me chuckle.

Looks like they've pushed back the release in the states from sometime in Feb to a June 6th release.  Luckily it will be a balls out NC-17 release.

Still haven't seen the film.  I read the Italian DVD is supposed to be out on February 12th.  Can anyone confirm this?  Any idea about the language options?  I've got a subtitle file for the film I downloaded from somewhere.

Neither DVD.IT or Kult Video have it listed for release.

I'll lay money on the fact it wont have English language options when it does appear on Italian DVD.

I really can't take DL's personal vendetta against the flick serious for one second any more. There's a point when a "joke" gets repetitive and he certainly overstepped that line sometime around New Year's Eve.
Can't say I've read much "rose tinted" observations on MOT so far, only lots of posts by people who're starting getting tired of waiting for the film inspiring such hateful rants.
