Thanks ECC - well appreciated!

Note: the last shot on the Swedish VHS comes later than the others so it's not that badly cropped, it's just zoomed in - I didn't take the snapshot at the right time.

I absolutely love this film! Desperately needs a remastered uncut dvd release!

Is it just me, or does the Spanish release look like it's been (rather hideously) cropped to give the illusion of a scope ratio? In general, there seems to be less information visible all around. On the third set of caps, the other two characters to the left of the woman are cropped right off the screen.

It's hard to tell, since they're not exact frame captures.  To my eyes, it looks like the 2.35:1 version actually frames the film at its normal dimensions; the other releases all look like they've been vertically stretched to the point of distortion.

Count in among the huge fans of this flick; it's in desperate need of a proper, uncut release!

I love the soundtrack, I love the movie. But why isn't there any good (official) version on DVD? With good picture, etc.?
I think the movie has potencial and Garko is an popular Genre-Actor... It's a pity.

I have the Soundtrack on CD and the movie on tape. I think it's the japanese copy.

I think that would be a great movie for the german Label Camera Obscura! Because it's very obscure  :D

Yeah, I know about the spanish DVD. But it sould be cut... And unter this fact I could still keep my copy of the VHS. Better uncut and receivable picture, as a good picture and some cut scenes (By the way: How is the picture-quality of the spanish DVD?).

I think I will ask Camera Obscura in a german form, where they are reading sometimes. Maybe...

As it's a co-production my guess is the film has Spanish and Italian owners for each respective version.
