One would think that the rights holders of such old 70's obscurities would be happy to get some profit out of their catalogue than no profit at all...But we've been there before...They certainly view their possessions in a completely different light than the average Euro horror fan....surprise, surprise. :o

I can't really see them asking tons of money for the Scandinavian countries' distribution rights.

Otherwise, companies like Finland's "Future Film" or Danmark's "Another World" wouldn't really stand a chance either.

Future Film even had the Italian AND English audio for their "Last Cannibal World" DVD - with removable subs! The other two in their Cannibal movies box - "Man from Deep River" and "Amazonia" - had only one track each at offer: "Deep River" Italian and "Amazonia" English.

I keep my fingers crossed and wish you luck! :-X

Both Future Film and Another World are collaborating with companies in other countries, probably sharing the costs. For instance, the Cannibal box was also released in Sweden by Noble Entertainment - one of the biggest companies.

I almost thought so.  ???

May be, it wouldn't be such a bad idea to seek a partnership with some other Scandinavian distributor?

From a collector's perspective, I haven't the slightest ideas about the trappings of such an enterprise, but considering how huge the Scandinavian market is on a whole, it might be worth a thought. :-\

We're currently negotiating with a number of rights holders, and we hope to annouce the first titles before summer and have them released before the end of the year. At the moment we're like children in a candy store - there are soooo many films to choose from so we don't know where to start...  :-X
