Here's a description from some bootleggers site:
Quote
The Killer Reserved 9 Seats: Dir. L'Assassino ha riservato nove poltrone. Dir. Giuseppe Bennati. A personal favorite of mine. This is the Italian original tape and includes several scenes and extra dialogue that isn't present in the commonly available Greek tape also in very nice picture quality. and it's in Widescreen! fantastic!. Italian language Widescreen (1974).

Might be a bit of a problem with some of the scenes

Well, can't you simply make a composite with the uncut Italian tape and sub the cut dialog? Is it missing dialog or violence?

Don't think the Greek prints are missing any violence.

The Greek prints are only missing dialogue, not violence.

So is anyone gonna do this one? I'd do it, but right now, I've only learned how to time subs to discs. Haven't learned to sync dialog yet.

I'll have go, if someone can get me a DVD-R of the Italian VHS  :D

I just found this on my hard drive, forgotten all about it until now...

DVD sleeve

I started making it a couple of years ago and never finished it! Just needs some text on the back. Looks nice printed out though.  :'(

Sweet mate
I'll try and get a decent PAL copy from Europe, not big on those American bootleggers and the PAL to NTSC transfers.

Nice one, it's gotta be PAL. Can't do anything with NTSC as it won't be compatible with the Greek PAL version.  :'(

After reading this thread I decided to watch this film this afternoon and I really enjoyed it too.  The theatre setting is certainly claustrophobic and the mask worn by the killer certainly gave me the creeps, in fact it could be the creepiest mask I have ever seen used in a horror/thriller.  Will definitely revisit this one soon and would be very interested in seeing a widescreen version even though I found the DVD-R of the Greek tape to be of surprisingly good quality.

Thought I'd post a grab of the killer in his mask just for those who haven't seen it before...
